We are looking for new students to join our Erasmus KA2 project SOTTOP (=Strengthening Our Ties Through Our Past)!
Does international travel interest you? Do you want to get to meet students from different parts of Europe? We are looking for students interested in immersing themselves in history, applying the successes and failures of the past to present day issues and turning these experiences into games.
The project was launched in October 2019 and will run until June 2022. Our partners are schools in Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria and Belgium. A meeting in Munich, Germany, already took place in February 2020, with seven students and two teachers from Lyseo attending. Other meetings are due to take place in Loulé (Portugal), Pazardzhik (Bulgaria), Oulu, and Sint Niklaas (Belgium) during the school year 2021-2022.
Your participation in the project is completely free of charge. Because you will need to be involved throughout the project, we are approaching 1st and 2nd year students who will get to travel to the other schools and host their students in turn when they are here in Oulu.
If you feel you are the right person to join this project, fill in the application here, and ask your friend or friends to come along as well! Exploring history and its gamification will involve creativity, social skills and the willingness to throw yourselves into a variety of roles and situations. So, tell us about yourself and your various skills and interests!
The deadline for the applications is Monday, 15th February 2021.
